In light of COVID-19, we are enhancing our existing protocols to ensure our locations are clean and most importantly safe for both our visitors and our staff.
We are taking all necessary precautions to ensure your health is protected and cannot wait to be fully open. Until then, we are currently open by appointment only. Our newly implemented protocols abide by our state and local requirements, as well as the industry best practices.
MDS Medical Spa Protocol
Workplace cleaning and disinfecting:
Before arrival, upon arrival, and throughout duration of patient visits, rooms and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Cleaning methods have been enhanced and include disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, equipment, and all other elements of our work place. Guidance is provided by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA) where we abide by all updated protocols.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Face masks/coverings are mandatory for all staff and visitors. Hand hygiene techniques are used when face masks are touched or adjusted. Hand sanitizer is available for patient usage. Lastly, gloves are worn by all healthcare workers and changed between patients.
Employee and Visitor Screening:
When scheduling appointments, we will go over our healthcare questionnaire over the phone and screen for signs and symptoms of exposure prior to booking your appointment.
Upon arrival, all personnel and visitors will be screened for signs of a fever using a non-contact thermometer. All patients must review and sign our health questionnaire before any treatments are administered.
Social distancing:
Keep at least 6 ft. distance between patients and staff when possible. If patient was driven to appointment by someone, we kindly ask that they remain in their vehicle. Additionally, patients may opt to wait in their car until appointment time. Upon arrival and during patient’s visits, we limit and monitor point of entry traffic to the facility. Appointment bookings are staggered to assist in maintaining 6 ft. of distance within our offices. Handshaking, hugging, and unnecessary person to person contact is prohibited. Contactless payment systems are utilized when possible.
